BC? I am gonna be moving there next summer, for the riding of course. Let me know if you are gonna be around Lab though, I can't wait to ride Smokey again.
yeah, definatly all personal preferance. Sometimes its just fun to get caught up in the pinkbike tradition of debating a subject to death though.
I have yet to see a bike set up to do one type of riding as good as the other, there is always some sacrifice to be made. What bike do you have anyway?
Nice shot man. I am gonna be in Lab this July with my bike, you gonna be coming in?
Okay, talk to Alain and ask him if it is a Dobermann if you don't believe it.
I'll be in this July for the whole month with both my bikes, we will get a chance to ride for sure.
Just call it a Cannondale Lefty and you could sell it for 900 bucks.
Thats a cool shot. makes me wish I were riding that park right now.
This one only has enough clearence for 2.35's in the rear with the size of rim I am running, but thats what I planned on running anyway.
I have to agree with you on that one.
Try doin that on a caribou at -50 degrees, then your from Labrador
Usually its a 2.35-2.5 DH tire in the rear and a slightly smaller tire in the front, but I like running the same tires front and rear.
Nah, street tires wouldn't grip on to things good, you would slip right off.
I always run 2.35's on my trials bikes, most people do.
Come on man, whats wrong with Zebra. Actually I wanted a different seat, but that was the only one I could get in that style.
Thanks. Its a one-off custom, its not their geometry, its based on the geometry of the old Planet X Zebdi frames.
I think its a good idea accept for not being able to run a bash guard. Looks good though.
That is the Churchill river and falls in Churchill Falls, Labrador, Canada
Thank you, I'll tell him you said that.
Not gonna cut it till i have all the parts so I can know how long i need to cut it
No, you should see some of the pro trials riders...they would hop over me in that picture. But still, I wasn't going for a world record, I was just fooling around in my driveway.
You should put it on a chain and wear it around your neck for the winter, you'll be the coolest guy in school with that kind of bling.
That thing looks more like some kind of alien space ship than a bike frame.Pretty sick. Are you selling it or something, or did you just take it apart for the winter?
Trials parts have always been a bit over-priced, but so is everything bike related. I just paied $400 for a thin pair of pants and jacket for the winter, its nice stuff, but come on...

there is a pic with the geo. Its not a comp frame, its more for street, its modeled after the old Planet X Zebdis. |
And yes, I do realize you wrote this close to a month ago but I don't usually read these comments so I only just now seen it.
